The online training on Wetlands Vulnerability Analysis is running from yesterday to Thursday 22nd July.

At ESIPPS International Ltd, we thank supporting partners and funders , i.e., Makerere University Department of Geomatics and Land Administration, RCMRD and EU/AUC GMES &Africa Programme.

Most importantly the over 600 participants that registered to attend the training underpin interest to respond to the finding that the global extent of wetlands decline of 64-71% in the 20th century; annual loss of ecosystem services to the tune of US$ 20 trillion ; and call to Parties by the Ramsar Convention (State of the world wetlands – Ramasar briefing Note 7) to strengthen wetland assessment, monitoring and restoration.
