Joel is an experienced Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) professional, award winning filmmaker and a change maker. He has got extensive skill sets in the field of evaluation which he integrates with his video skills like creating impact videos, video info graphic reports, and participatory video of all kind. He also has diverse experience in integrating technology with M&E like through programming digital mobile data collection tools (ODK, tangerine, survey togo, Kobo Collect) and use of online data collection tools like Google sheets, Google forms and survey monkey. He has vast experience with all forms of evaluations like baseline, midterm evaluations, end line evaluations and impact evaluations (RCT, Quasi and non-experimental).
Joel Has over 6 years of progressive experience in the field of Monitoring and evaluation as has worked in different development contexts including the refugee humanitarian context. Joel has Evaluated different categories of projects in the field of Agricuture/enterprenuership/environment, health, education, civic leadership, protection, WASH
among others.
Joel has got a Masters degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, a postgraduate diploma in monitoring and evaluation, a bachelors degree in monitoring and evaluation, as well as other certificate qualifications. Joel has also over 10 years of film production and has won both local and international film awards such as the 2017 Texas Christian Film festival award for best international short film.
