The NSOER aims to inform the public about the state of the environment in the country; the importance of the environment and natural resources in the development process and their value to society; its trends and projections; the key issues; challenges; and opportunities for improvement.
The theme for the 2018-2019 National State of Environment Report is “Managing the Environment for Climate Resilient Livelihoods and Sustainable Economic Development.”
